Injured Stablehand - Millie Thompson (Tamworth, Thurs)

Millie Thompson, a stablehand for trainer Craig Martin, has been injured after a horse reportedly stepped on her hand at Tamworth trackwork this morning (Thursday 14th May). Millie was taken to Tamworth Hospital for scans and further treatment.

[Update at 9:50am on Friday]: Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reports that Millie was discharged from Tamworth Hospital yesterday with her hand in a plaster. She doesn’t have a fracture but what looks like a soft tissue injury to her hand. Millie will be reassessed in a weeks' time.
