Jockey Jessica Drury was dislodged when her mount Petroglyph bucked shortly after the start of Race 6 at Taree on Monday (17th March).
Jessica made heavy contact with the ground and lost consciousness for a short time but she is now conscious.
She is experiencing dizziness and headaches and will be transferred to hospital for further examination.
[Update at 9pm Monday]: Jess is OK and all her scans are clear. She has a concussion and was admitted overnight for observation.
