Injured Rider Update - Casey Waddell (Coonamble, Sunday)

Apprentice jockey Casey Waddell was dislodged after passing the finishing post following Race 3 at Coonamble on Sunday (13th March). She has a fractured tibia and fibula and will be having surgery tonight when she arrives.

[Update at 4:30pm on Thursday 17th March]: Casey has undergone surgery to her tibia and fibula. She has been discharged to head home and will be followed up by specialists in Tamworth.

[Update at 2:30pm on Monday]: Casey had surgery last night at Dubbo Hospital and is recovering well. She had a plate and screws put on her tibia and fibula.
