Jockey Billy Cray suffered a fall during trackwork at Scone on Wednesday morning (28th April). Billy is suffering from leg and shoulder pain and has been transported to Scone Hospital.
[Update at 4:30pm on Wednesday 28th April]: Billy has been admitted to John Hunter Hospital where he will remain for a couple of days. He has a fractured ankle that the doctors hope can be treated conservatively in a moon boot.
He also has a fractured wrist and they are waiting for other scans to see if he requires surgery for this injury. Billy has a soft tissue injury to his arm and shoulder but this will be reassessed in the next 24 hours.
