Pre-apprentice Amy O’Driscoll had a fall at Albury trackwork this morning when the horse she was riding for her master Donna Scott tried to jump the inside running rail and fell.
She was transported to Albury Base Hospital complaining of lower back pain, sore hip, and right leg. She has since been diagnosed with a broken pelvis. Donna has been in contact with Amy’s Mum in Ireland.
[Update at midday on Monday 23rd October]: Amy O'Driscoll is still in hospital with a pelvic fracture but no surgery is needed. She may be discharged today if she can mobilise on crutches.
