Race 1 - 2:10PM ABERNETHY GORE SOLICITORS CNTRY MAIDEN PLATE (1200 METRES) |

5. Shine Like It Does has been competitive at city level but is yet to break through. Returning to country level here and will benefit from a favourable setup with the inside draw and a 4kg claim engaged. Looks to be the main threat in this field.
Dangers: 1. King Taurus has been knocking on the door, going close in his first three starts. He showed a strong effort at Queanbeyan, leading throughout before being run down in the final moments. With another chance at his home track, he poses a strong threat here. 11. Xcessive Force won her trial in preparation for this race. She draws the inside barrier and looks well-placed and looks to strike on debut here. 4. Niccolina gave an improved showing last start at the Sapphire Coast, battling on but falling short in the closing chase. She’s gone close on this track in her previous campaign and can be competitive in this field.
How to play it: Shine Like It Does WIN ($8.00 TAB Fixed Odds).
Race 2 - 2:45PM RADIO GOULBURN BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP (1600 METRES) |

7. Sanctuary Storm is tough to overlook in this race, having won on debut and finishing runner-up last start at Newcastle where the winner was too strong, but a clear gap on the rest of the field. Returning to country level here with a positive race setup and drawing the fence. Looks well-placed and hard to beat.
Dangers: 8. Downtown’s Abbey showed flashes of promise in her previous campaign, highlighted by an improved performance in her last start when finishing runner-up at Albury after being boxed out in a crucial position. Freshened and drawn to put up another competitive performance. 3. Heromania is a track talent who has had some of his best performances here. He charged home late in his last race to close the gap but narrowly missed, finishing third. Now third up and race fit, with a 2kg claim engaged, he looks ready to make an impact. 2. Good Once comes off a solid effort last start at Newcastle, leading but fading in the final straight against tougher competition. Back to country level here and benefits from a 3kg claim. Can show up.
How to play it: Sanctuary Storm WIN ($2.15 TAB Fixed Odds).
Race 3 - 3:20PM BRAD WRITER CONSTRUCTIONS CLASS 3 HANDICAP (1200 METRES) |

7. Promising Prospect gave a strong performance when resuming at Nowra first up, narrowly finishing second in a race where he and the winner left a significant gap to the rest of the field. A positive record at this track and a suitable distance suggest he is well-placed to compete strongly here.
Dangers: 4. Recruiter comes of a hard-fought victory last start at Hawkesbury running on speed and holding off competition for a photo finish. Returning to country level here, he’ll aim to build on that performance and looks well-placed to be a strong contender. 1. Deceive has shown solid form at the city level but disappointed last start at Kensington, failing to step up in the final stretch when given the chance. Final placing isn’t a reflection of the race and better suited here to be competitive. 6. Zipitalist resumes after showing improved performances at the back end of his last campaign. He has trialled well in preparation and shapes as a potential threat first up. One to watch.
How to play it: Promising Prospect WIN ($9.50 TAB Fixed Odds).
Race 4 - 4:00PM COMPLETE PLUMBING SOLUTIONS MAIDEN HANDICAP (1000 METRES) |

6. Shh Boom makes her debut after an impressive trial win at Albury, leading from the jump and holding on strongly throughout. While she will need to overcome a wide draw, she looks capable of making an impact on debut.
Dangers: 8. Ladie’s Secret showed promise on debut at Newcastle but disappointed in her follow-up run before spell. She returns first up after a lengthy layover and drops back to country level here. Can compete. 7. Hot Luci debuts for the Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott stable after showing some respectable trial performances. She has demonstrated potential in her lead-up work and one to. 5. Miss Piera is second up and returns to country level after struggling to compete at city level. She is better suited here and looks capable of being competitive in this race.
How to play it: Shh Boom WIN ($4.20 TAB Fixed Odds).

1. Tokyo Ice has shown consistent form throughout her 11-start career, including a hard-fought third at Queanbeyan last start before heading for a spell. Returning here, she benefits from an inside draw and a 1.5kg claim, both serving in a favourable race setup at a track and distance that suit. Well-placed to build on those prior efforts first up and looks to be the main threat.
Dangers: 3. Keikoku has shown improving form recently with back-to-back second-place finishes, overcoming challenges and charging from the rear on both occasions. Resumes at a suitable distance and boasts a solid first-up record, making him a strong contender here. 6. Vereeva impressed first up at Goulburn, showcasing a strong turn of foot from the back of the field to claim victory. A lacklustre effort at Rosehill last start but fitter third up here and returning to the country level. Remains a chance here despite the wide draw. Every chance. 9. Fantini delivered a respectable performance last start at Canberra, showing promise. Draws the rail here and is fitter for the two-week turnaround. Will look to roll off that performance and improve going into this one.
How to play it: Tokyo Ice WIN ($6.00 TAB Fixed Odds).

Returning to country level and having trialled well in the lead-up, she looks ready to make an impact first up. 6. He gets another chance here and looks poised to make an impact. 10. Zozo Narni is on debut after some fair trials. Positive draw and potential to perform on debut.
