Fallen Riders Update - Tomingley (Saturday)

Jockeys Ricky Blewitt, Michael Gray and Michael Hackett were dislodged from their mounts after an incident in race 2.

Michael Gray has suspected collarbone injury and has been transported to Dubbo hospital. He has a fractured clavicle and they are still doing other scans on his head and neck.

There is a good chance he will stay in hospital for observation overnight.

Ricky Blewitt has 3 thoracic spine fractures which should heal on their own without surgery. He also has a fractured rib and possible scapula fracture. He stayed over night for observation.

Michael Hackett has been airlifted to Liverpool hospital in a critical condition, with head injuries. He is currently having a CT scan (as at 6pm).

The race meeting has been abandoned.
