Apprentice Jockey Anna Roper – Weight Allowance
Apprentice jockey Anna Roper recorded her 80th winner when she rode Scorched Earth to win Race 7 at the Coonabarabran race meeting yesterday.
As acceptances for today’s Muswellbrook meeting and the Grafton meeting on Tuesday 24th October had already been declared, Ms Roper is still entitled to claim a 1.5kg weight allowance for those meetings in accordance with AR143(9).
Thereafter, Anna will not be entitled to a weight allowance at Country race meetings.
