Zac Wadick [pictured left] celebrated his first Rising Star Series victory after winning Heat 11 at Bathurst today (Tuesday 25th January).

The Sydney-based apprentice saluted the judge with Lockdown Gamble ($4.20) for trainer David Smith, who scored by nearly four lengths.

Jackson Searle finished second on Arimathea ($7) with Casey Waddell third on Don't Question Me ($7).

Bailey Wheeler remains the Series leader boasting 21 points ahead of Jenny Duggan (16pts) and Georgina McDonnell (13pts).

Grafton will host Heat 12 on Tuesday 1st February.
