Who's Hot To Trot At Goulburn (Monday)

Goulburn has seven races to be run and won on Monday with the racing surface currently rated a Good 4 and the rail in the true position.

Here's a quick run-down of who's hot to trot for the tablelands meeting.

Jockeys

Jean Van Overmeire - low flying in recent days having ridden five winners from his last nine rides (as of Sunday morning) including half the card at Kembla Grange on Saturday. 'JVO' has a solid book of five rides at Goulburn on Monday for the likes of Widdup, Ryan & Alexiou, Seib and Williams. Form book says "pay to follow".

Alysha Collett - has a great strike rate at Goulburn as evidenced by her clear-cut win in the recently completed tablelands jockey premiership for 2022/23. Has four rides on Monday including an upside type in Savanaci ($5.00 TAB) for the Annabel Neasham yard in Race 5 the Danny Williams Local Trainer of the Year B58 Hcp 1600m.

Beany Panya - always a good idea to pack a 'Beany' when visiting Goulburn at this time of year and that strategy has worked well of late with Panya's winning strike rate glowing at 35%. Has notched five winners across the tablelands in recent weeks for stables such as Tash Burleigh, Joseph & Jones and Geoffrey Crothers. Has two rides at Goulburn on Monday (Tyger Moon - Race 4 and Buff In Disguise - Race 5).

Trainers

Danielle Seib - put an exclamation mark on the last day of a breakout racing season with a win at Wellington (Leather Jacket Lew) then her first runner of the new season, Amarantz, went top three in Saturday's Highway Hcp at Rosehill. Has a stacked set of six acceptors on her home track and could easily have a strong say in the quaddie with likes of last start Goulburn winner Chaotic Beauty ($7.50), Eight Of A Kind ($10) and dual acceptor Almahero ($7.50).

Matthew Dale - now well ensconced at Goulburn and has had runners everywhere of late. Has two acceptors on Monday with early shoppers' keen on Dolce Bella ($3.00 TAB) in Race 4, the Markey Saddlery Country Boosted Maiden Plate over 1300m. The promising mare only got warm late first up and should appreciate the open spaces of her home patch over a longer trip with Billy Owen to steer from gate three.

Terry Robinson - has trained two winners during June / July but could easily have had more with another five minor placings along the way. Due a change of luck and could get that with two acceptors at Goulburn in Spritely Emily (Race 5- $4.60 for Emma Ly) and Danzadel (Race 7 -$11.00 for Heavelon Van Der Hoven).

The Goulburn Good Oil likes the Monday play of:

Dolce Bella - Race 4 No.10 at $3.00
Mentalism - Race 6 No.1 at $6.00 / $2.20
Almahero - Race 7 No. 4. at $7.50 / $2.60

Race 1 at Goulburn on Monday kicks off at 1.05pm.
