Trainer Todd Blowes this morning advised Racing NSW Stewards that NOBLE BOY, a qualifier for the Newhaven Park Country Championships Final to be run at Royal Randwick this Saturday (6th April), worked unusually keen this morning when he rode the gelding.
Mr Blowes advised Stewards that a blood sample for health assessment was taken this morning and the results will be provided to Racing NSW Stewards this afternoon.
Noble Boy underwent a veterinary examination in the presence of Racing NSW Stewards this morning and no abnormalities were detected. A further release will be made this afternoon once the blood results are provided to Stewards.
Update at 2:36pm on Tuesday 2nd April: Trainer Todd Blowes has provided Racing NSW Stewards with the results of a blood sample for health assessment taken from Noble Boy today.
Mr Blowes advised his stable veterinarian has reported no abnormalities with the sample. Racing NSW Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr Toby Koenig, has also indicated the blood results do not show any abnormalities.
Mr Blowes has advised it is his intention for Noble Boy to take its place in the Newhaven Park Country Championships Final to be conducted at Royal Randwick this Saturday.
