Vale Mr Peter 'Wacky' Pennell

Trainer Peter Pennell, better known as ‘Wacky’, of Carinda has passed away after a short illness.

Peter, 64, always had a handy horse and didn’t mind travelling which included a trip to Birdsville with his good mate, Rodney Robb.

Peter’s last winner was Knight’s Honour at Quambone in May 2019. He is survived by wife Di and children Fiona, Kylie and Garen.
