Vale Mr Peter Molloy (Former Country Jockey)

Racing NSW has been informed of the passing of former country rider Peter Molloy. Mr Molloy, 55, died last Friday night following a long illness.

Formerly from Orange, Peter landed four winners at Cowra in September 1979 and also won a Bathurst Cup on Braille in 1984. Peter's father 'Matey' Molloy had won the same race on Letraset in 1970.

A funeral service will be held from 1:30pm at St Mary's Church, Orange, on Thursday, 19th April 2018.
