Vale Mr George Small (Grenfell)

Racing NSW has been advised of the passing of Grenfell owner Mr George Small aged 95.

George (Espie) Small raced many talented horses for over 70 years in the Central Western District and was a well known and liked character amongst the local community.

"We will miss seeing him in the main street of Grenfell where he would often reflect on his life in racing," said a friend, Gavin Edwards.

"We had a farewell in Grenfell for George last Friday and it won’t be the same without him."
