Upcoming NSW Picnic/Community Race Meetings - Status

YOUNG Picnic (Saturday 8 October 2022) – Abandoned
The Young Picnic race meeting on Saturday 8 October 2022 has been abandoned. Following significant rainfall in the region, Racing NSW Stewards determined the Young course to be unsuitable for racing.

LEETON Picnic Meeting (Saturday 5 November 2022)
Following the abandoned Lockhart and Young Picnic meetings a Picnic race meeting has been scheduled at Leeton on Saturday 5 November 2022. The program for the meeting is to be advised shortly.

FORBES Community Meeting (Saturday 8 October 2022)
Following 40ml of rain in the last 7 days and 10ml overnight the Forbes track is currently rated a heavy 10. Racing NSW will continue to monitor the weather and track conditions and may consider an alternative venue for the meeting subject to track conditions across the region and the forecast for further significant rainfall through to Saturday. Acceptances for the Forbes meeting must be declared before Thursday 6 October 2022 9.00am AEDT

ALBURY TAB Meeting (Saturday 8 October 2022)
Following 18ml of rain in the last 7 days the Albury track is currently rated a heavy 9. Racing NSW will continue to monitor the weather and track conditions and may consider an alternative venue for the meeting subject to conditions across the region and the forecast for further significant rainfall through to Saturday. Acceptances for the Albury meeting must be declared before Thursday 6 October 2022 9.00am AEDT

COONAMBLE TAB Meeting (Sunday 9 October 2022)
Following 3ml of rain overnight the Coonamble track is currently rated a good 3. Racing NSW will continue to monitor the weather and track conditions with significant rainfall forecast through to Sunday. Acceptances for the Coonamble meeting must be declared before Thursday 6 October 2022 9.00am AEDT
