Next Sunday is Sapphire Coast Turf Club's 'South Coast Timber Eden Cup Raceday' with a seven-race TAB card featuring some excellent country racing.

Jess O'Donnell, SCTC's Sponsorship & Marketing Co-Ordinator, said: "Gates open next Sunday at midday on what should be a great day's racing.

"The afternoon is proudly sponsored by South Coast Timber, Eden Fishermen’s Recreation Club, Acora, Eden Tyre Power, Women in Racing Canberra, Beach Cabins Merimbula and Senator Racing Promoted Riders.

"And looking ahead, the Melbourne Cup visits the Sapphire Coast on August 28th and August 29th and will be part of many events raising money for Ronald McDonald House Charity.

"The weekend will also include a visit from Ronald McDonald himself with his famous magic show, snail races and much more, so head to Sapphire Coast to support this great event."
