Consistent Dubbo mare Avalicious snapped a 10-start losing streak when successful in last Saturday's Alkane Resources Tomingley Picnic Cup (1500m).
In doing so the five-year-old, the $1.70 favourite, broke the track record by running 1:25.99 for jockey Ricky Blewitt.
Prepared by Dubbo trainer Clint Lundholm, Avalicious defeated Namarari (Zara Lewis, $12) by half a length with Valadyium (Dylan Parrott, $7) a length away in third position.
The mare received 10 points in the NSW Picnic Champion Series which are her only points in the Series to date.
