NSW Race Meetings – Status (Due To Wet Weather)

Please note the following:

SATURDAY 6th April
Royal Randwick
Meeting will proceed on a Heavy 10. Section near the 1000m is consistent with the rest of the track and is suitable to race.

Hawkesbury - TRANSFERRED TO NEWCASTLE
Track rated a Heavy 9 having received 44mls of overnight rain and 50.5mls for the week. Weather forecast is for the high chance of heavy falls on Friday with a shower or two for raceday.

Coonabarabran
Track inspection completed and meeting to proceed on a Heavy 9. The third event will now be amended to run over 850m not 900m as a section of the 900m chute has been deemed unsuitable.

Hillston - POSTPONED
An inspection this morning after overnight rain found the course unsuitable for racin.

Warialda - POSTPONED
This race meeting has been postponed with heavy rain rendering the track unsuitable for racing.

Cootamundra picnics - POSTPONED
Following a further 25mls of rain overnight the track has been deemed unsuitable for racing and as such the meeting has been postponed.

Lismore - ABANDONED
The meeting was called off due to the weather and state of the track with a forecast for further heavy rainfall.

SUNDAY 7th April
Dubbo
Track rated a Soft 5 having received no overnight rain and 36mls for the past week. Weather forecast is for the very high chance of heavy falls and a thunderstorm on Friday and the high chance of showers on Saturday. Little to no rain is forecast for Sunday.

Gundagai
Track rated a Good 4 having received no overnight rain and 3mls for the past week. Weather forecast is for the very high chance of heavy falls and a thunderstorm on Friday afternoon/evening and the high chance of showers on Saturday morning and Sunday morning.

MONDAY 8th April
Kempsey
Track rated a Heavy 10 having received 50mls of rain overnight and 56.5mls for the past week. Weather forecast is for the very high chance of heavy falls and a thunderstorm on Friday and a very high chance of showers and a thunderstorm on Saturday. Little to no rain is forecast for Monday.

Tamworth
Track rated a Good 4 having received no rain overnight and 6mls for the past week. Weather forecast is for the very high chance of heavy falls and a thunderstorm on Friday and a high chance of showers on Saturday. Little to no rain is forecast for Monday.

TUESDAY 9th April
Kembla Grange
Track rated a Heavy 10 having received 61mls of rain overnight and 64mls for the past week. Weather forecast is for the very high chance rain and a thunderstorm on Friday and a very high chance of showers and a thunderstorm on Saturday. Little to no rain is forecast for Sunday and Monday.

Ballina
Track rated a Heavy 10 having received no overnight rain and 51.5mls for the past week. Weather forecast is for the very high chance of heavy falls and a thunderstorm on Friday and a very high chance of showers and a thunderstorm on Saturday. There is a very high chance of showers on Sunday with little to no rain forecast for Monday.
