Track likely improving to Good 4 and rail out 3m:

Home track three-year-old 7. Mojo Classic can strike on a much drier track backing up in seven days over further. Got a long way back at Newcastle on a Heavy 10 before making up plenty of late ground, but the stablemate winner had dashed away. Well placed at the weights on a firmer surface, especially with that stablemate coming out.

Dangers: Keep safe provincial mare 3. Decadent Tale who draws to get a soft run just off the speed, and gets some weight relief up in grade. Gap to the rest.

Metro filly 10. Pharaoh's Reign only needs to get across from the wider draw okay to strike third-up. Has been right behind the winner in two runs back on rain-affected ground, and is very well treated under the set weight conditions.

Dangers: Talented provincial mare 8. Just Like Lisa can peak fourth-up on dryer ground; while both metro colt 12. Diatonic at his second start; and improving filly 11. Piccadilly Lass at her third; can both run into the minor end of the prize.

Tricky dash with the early fancies all scratched. Like local Super One two-year-old 7. Dastani who debuts behind a nice trial win, with blinkers on.

Dangers: Big watch on three-year-old 3. Tennagain who made up plenty of late ground behind a smart winner first-up; while 6. Hydra and 15. Rock Chant both go in exotics.

Some handy sprinters in this and could well turn into a strong form reference. Looks the right race for progressive Newcastle filly 10. Rockbarton Ruby second-up. Attacked the line late when resuming, but can settle a bit closer here from the draw, and will relish the firmer track.

Dangers: Provincial three-year-old 2. Pacheco hasn't been far away in three runs this prep, and draws to get a soft run on or near the speed, with blinkers added. Keep safe both 9. Miss Milton from the inside barrier fourth-up; and 6. Exo Angel who can improve from her provincial debut 18 days ago.

Open sprint here with several strong chances headed by resuming local mare 9. C'mon And Love Me who returns behind two trials and with blinkers coming off. Comes to hand quickly, and has built a nice 40 percent win rate from eight starts.

Dangers: Hard fit three-year-old 10. Small Town steps up from an all-the-way CL2 win, and looks well placed over this trip again, with a senior and much stronger rider going on. Capable filly 8. Bullinachinashop can use his early speed from a handy draw, and was only gunned down second-up by a smart sprinter. Home tracker 2. Just Strolling will appreciate the drop back from Highway company, and narrowly won a CL1 here two starts back. Watch for any market move aboard 1. Jacquine Reward first-up off a long break behind two solid wet track trials, and stable has a good strike rate when fresh.

Emerging three-year-old 3. Kayobi is headed for much better races than this, and is the clear one to beat. Was given a month after just missing here in heavy ground before sweeping home to easily score as a heavily backed favourite. Even better suited on top of the ground, and just needs to slot in from the wide gate.

Dangers: Progressive 10. Navajo Peak comes off a narrow second-up maiden win at Coffs, and while this is a significant step up in class, he draws to get a trail with cover.

Improving provincial three-year-old 4. Best Side can pick up where he left off 11 weeks ago cruising to a maiden win at Tamworth. That was his first run back since struggling in city company late last year, and has been kept ticking over with a smart trial win.

Dangers: Metro three-year-old 6. Rupertson is over the odds third-up after two solid runs back, although has to cart 60kg. Both 8. Our Boy Malcolm from the inside gate; and 10. Shemakesastatement fourth-up; can run into the placings.
