Track Good 4 and rail true:
Race 1 - 1:40PM 2DU & ZOOFM MAIDEN PLATE (1000 METRES) |

11. Imastatement is an emerging home track filly resuming. Hasn't raced since failing on debut here from a wide barrier after being backed from $5.00 into $4.20. Given plenty of time since; reportedly working well; and drawn to do much less work this time earlier in the run with a stronger & senior jockey taking over. 9. Femella is a filly by Brave Smash on debut behind two handy trials, and is a clear threat. 6. Wanavan can improve sharply third-up on firmer footing; and was scratched from Sunday's Armidale meeting to run here. Gap to the rest.
How to play it: Imastatement ro win
Race 2 - 2:20PM INLAND PETROLEUM CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE (2200 METRES) |

11. Miss Clamorosa is an ultra consistent & hard fit filly from the same stable as the previous on top selection, and the clear one to beat. Swept home for a dominant maiden win here early last month before missing narrowly in her next two, the latest stiff when going under by a whisker at Wellington. Better suited back on the bigger track, and getting out over a much longer journey where she can be ridden quieter. Emerges as the best treated runner under the set weight conditions. 10. Casino Diva ran home well first-up over a middle distance, and will thrive over the longer journey on a bigger course. 4. Shubick can run a race deep into his prep; despite a sharp rise in distance. Big gap to the rest.
How to play it: Miss Clamorosa to win
Race 3 - 2:55PM EZYQUIP HIRE COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN HANDICAP (1600 METRES) |

12. Nightwalker represents terrific value, despite chasing a breakthrough win at his 25th attempt. Hit the line late three starts back before running home into a place in his next couple. Will get well back again from a wide draw, but has shown a real liking for this circuit; and afforded a big weight drop 15 days between runs. Has been in the placings nine times. 3. Wolf Club has to overcome the outside gate, but will also appreciate the longer trip and a bigger track. 10. Mad Harry is over the odds having beaten all but the winner closing off in his last two; while 7. Hideyo comes back from tougher provincial opposition second-up off a short break, and can run into the money.
How to play it: Nightwalker each way
Race 4 - 3:35PM MARTY NELSON REFRIGERATION & AIR CONDITIONING BM58 (1600M) |

1. Commando Jack is a tough five-year-old stepping up a furlong further deep into the prep. Has hit the line impressively into a place in his last two; and will relish this bigger course settling well off the speed with plenty of cover. Up in weight for the drop in class; but couldn't be fitter & only needs clear air over the final 350m. 4. Call Me Terry is a serious threat fourth-up, and likely to jump favourite. Missed by a neck in a handy BM 58 at Scone last time, and has enough tactical speed to get over from a wide draw. 2. Laisvas is a local mare chasing a fifth consecutive win, the latest at higher BM 66 level although that was a weak line-up for the grade. Draws to get a good run, but goes up heavily in weight. 7. Little Bit Flash coming off an all-the-way win second-up in similar company; can add value into trifecta and first four plays.
How to play it: Commando Jack to win
Race 5 - 4:10PM DESSPOS SOLUTIONS CLASS 3 HANDICAP (1400 METRES) |

7. Pharoahzano is a progressive three-year-old emerging as the best value peaking fourth-up off a month-long freshen in a wide race with plenty of chances. Was stiff not to claim a BM 58 before making amends charging home late for a dominant win at Tamworth. Then did his best work late after a tough run against CL3 opposition at Muswellbrook in what looks a strong form race. Less depth here and with plenty of cover back in the field from a low draw; he can be saved up for one superior surge from the 400m. 10. Midnight Affair is well placed down in weight from the inside draw to make it two wins from his last three. Big watch on 6. Egyptologist who resumes with blinkers back on behind two easy trials. Has plenty of ability when on the fresh side, and the big spacious track suits his pattern. 4. Sanzeno draws well fourth-up with some weight relief. 8. Tavanasia is the best of the rest, and goes into wider exotic plays.
How to play it: Pharoahzano to win
Race 6 - 4:45PM STRIDYL COUNTRY BOOSTED BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP (1200 METRES) |

8. You Have To Go is an underrated improver coming back from provincial company fifth-up over a shade more groundin what is now a weakened race. Did his best work late at this track before disappointing on soft ground at Scone after being backed from $4.00 into $3.30. Ridden a touch quieter on the Beaumont track in heavy going a fortnight ago and hit the line impressively late. Up in weight here for the drop in class; but looking for this trip back on a suitably bigger circuit; and gear changes have been made. 2. Pyromania is a fit and reliable weight carrier, and best form is on dry ground. 3. Byron's Farm on a 10 day turnaround from a dominant first-up win, and lightly raced 9. Take The Chance reloading seven weeks after a dominant all-the-way maiden win here; can both add plenty of value into exotic returns.
How to play it: You Have To Go to win
Race 7 - 5:20PM DUBBO PLASTERBOARD & BUILDING SUPPLIES CLASS 1 (1000 METRES) |
---|
5. Quick Sharp is a lightly raced & progressive filly peaking third-up in her first full prep. Won easily on debut last spring before spelling; then returned with a disappointing effort as a short-priced favourite here a month ago. Went back home and missed narrowly in a deeper CL2 on heavy ground, and is ready to win again, dropping in class and back on firmer footing. 1. Wasted Days is a market watch trained on the track, and resuming off a long break. 3. Man From Brussells is hard fit and placed in his last two, and has blinkers going on; while 12. Sorrento Palace second-up is the best of the rest.
How to play it: Quick Sharp to win
