Murwillumbah Races (Mon 16th May) - Transferred To Glen Innes

Racing NSW Stewards have inspected Murwillumbah Racecourse and determined it unsuitable for racing following 90mls of rainfall over the past week and a further forecast for inclement weather.

As a consequence, the Murwillumbah race meeting scheduled for Monday 16th May has been transferred to Glen Innes Racecourse.

As a result the following race distance amendments apply:

Open Hcp, 1550m - is now 1400m
BM66 Hcp, 1100m - is now 1000m
Class 1 & Mdn Plate, 2020m - is now 1700m
Maiden Hcp, 1550m - is now 1400m
2yo Hcp, 1100m - is now 1000m

Nominations have been reopened until 4pm today for horses to be entered or withdrawn. Ballot Preference as follows:

- Original nominations for this meeting to receive preference
- Extended nominations that are trained within the NRRA (Northern Rivers Racing Association) to be next in ballot
- Extended nominations that are trained outside of the NRRA to follow

Acceptances close at 9am on Thursday (12th May).
