Merriwa Races (Saturday) - Postponed
The Merriwa meeting today has had to be postponed due to the state of the track. Stewards inspected the track mid-week and were satisfied it was suitable to race.
However, prior to racing today it was found that after receiving some rain on Wednesday night and with fine weather since significant cracks had developed in the surface making it unsuitable to race.
