Late Gear Changes - Wellington (Friday)

WELLINGTON (Friday 24th March)
Race 2, No.10 - HOTPOT: Stewards have acceded to a late gear request lodged by trainer Pat Farrell for the gelding to race with blinkers (first time).
Race 3, No.14 - ZHI: Stewards have acceded to a late gear request lodged by trainer Damien Lane for the horse to race with a lugging bit, tongue tie and pre-race earmuffs as the filly barrier trialled in this gear on the Beaumont Track-Newcastle on 8th March 2023.
Race 5, No.8 - FIREMAN: The gelding will race with a bubble cheeker on the off-side. Note Fireman raced in this gear at its last start at Mudgee on 19th February 2023.
