Whiskey Miss has only had two starts and followed a solid fifth on debut at Ballina with another good enough effort when finishing ninth at Grafton last time out when beaten just over five and a half lengths. She looks to have the talent to make an impact. 2. Homeland has been racing well with three straight placings since resuming and can be thereabouts again. 9. Caledonian has shown improvement in two runs back from a spell and warrants thought, while 4. Majestic Thunder has been placed in his last two starts and can figure again.

3. Call Me Basil was placed in a Hawkesbury trial before debuting with a third at Taree. He shows enough talent to give this a shake and has Ashley Morgan in the saddle. 6. Redadel is on debut for a new stable and hasn’t been disgraced in a couple of Victorian runs. 14. Rainbow Lass was a close-up second at Ballina last time out and should be prominent again. 1. Cluster’s General has been placed in four of 12 and is not out of this.

5. Divine Bene was a winner on the Beaumont track at Newcastle before finishing third at Newcastle last time out after leading. He’s a consistent type that looks the one to beat here at his best. 1. Monte Maximus ran second at Port Macquarie two starts ago and wasn’t beaten far at the same track last time out when unplaced. 8. Ancient Mission is a last start Ballina second placegetter that isn’t out of this. 4. Casino Bear is resuming having taken on a longer trip before the break without success.

1. Oakfield Peewee won a couple on end at Taree last campaign and resumed with a fifth at Muswellbrook when safely held. He is fitter for this and can bounce back to winning form. 8. Nikody’s Diego is a last start Armidale winner that has drawn to advantage here and can go on with the job. 10. Vetoed failed in tougher grade at Lismore last time out but make a huge improvement. 12. Dazzling Robert wasn’t beaten far when a last start third at Ballina and has gate one.

1. All Too Sneaky resumed from a spell with a third at Gosford when leading and she can give cheek again here. 3. Another Wish was a debut winner at Grafton and hasn’t done much in both runs either side of a spell since then. 8. Intoxication is inconsistent but has drawn to get a good run, while 10. Monte Tiana broke her maiden when scoring at Port Macquarie in February and she can sprint well fresh here despite having a wide alley to contend with.

2. Cool Fizz raced on the speed and won well when scoring at Taree two starts ago and she followed that up with a down the track Port Macquarie effort. She has a good overall record and should take plenty of running down. 11. Vocation scored well at Ballina last time out when leading throughout and can make an impact again. 4. Egotistic is consistent and is rarely far from the action, while 5. La Pelago has been down on form but can figure if she can repeat her two wins before the latest two failures.

1. Zoom Outcome raced on the speed and did well to score on a heavy track at Taree last time out. He can repeat the dose with the apprentice claim here. 3. Boambee Beach is a consistent performer and can give plenty of cheek again. 10. Love Rat won well at Grafton when last produced and should be prominent again, while 12. Low Profile comes into this after a last start second at Taree and can sneak into the placings without surprising.

Discreet Lady is a last start Tuncurry winner that had good form before that. 1. Maui has been consistent of late with a number of placings, while 12. Our Sparky has a win and a second at her latest two Grafton runs and could show up again in this.

14. Wealthy Investor broke through to score just his third win two starts ago at Wyong and followed that up with a sixth at the same track. He is racing well enough to give this a shake. 5. Ocean Alps has been racing in fine form with a number of recent wins and another bold showing is on the cards. 8. Veandechance is a last start Taree winner that warrants respect, while 11. Badgers Nuts has been racing well having won at this track two starts ago.
