2. Lady De Guise has been knocking on the door for a win having been placed in four of her eight starts, including the latest three in succession. She finished second at this track two starts ago and then filled the same position at Canberra last time out. She gets her chance again to break through here.
Dangers: 1. Rappelling debuted with a midfield effort at Nowra on the back of a solid enough trial. He has the talent to give this a shake. 9. White Tights has been placed in two of five starts including the latest on the Riverside at Wagga. She can be placed here without surprising. 10. William was placed at Canberra two starts ago and could show up here with a repeat of that.
How to play it: Lady De Guise WIN.
Race 2 - 2:05PM ALLBIDS COUNTRY BOOSTED MAIDEN PLATE (1460 METRES) |
---|
8. Impending Harmony has only been placed in two of her 12 starts but she has been racing well enough of late with a second at Canberra two starts ago, and then a last start fourth at Canberra when hitting the line well. She’s drawn to get the run of the race in this.
Dangers: 12. Major Desire has had three starts back from a spell and has finished second in the latest two of them at Canberra and the Sapphire Coast. She only needs to run up to those efforts to be rated one of the hardest to beat here. 10. Sydney Gal has been consistent without winning and should play a part in the finish, while 5. Run Tommy Run has been close-up in recent runs and is worth including among the main chances here.
How to play it: Impending Harmony WIN.
Race 3 - 2:40PM WALSH’S HOTEL MAIDEN PLATE (1000 METRES) |
---|
4. I Am Real was formerly in the care of trainer Chris Waller and is having her first start for trainer Blake Ryan in this event. She was placed in a couple of Gold Coast runs on the Polytrack this time last year, and hasn’t raced since a failure at the Sunshine Coast last May. She has a good barrier here and a bold first-up showing is on the cards.
Dangers: 11. She’s High Society is on debut but has had a number of trials and won the latest of them at Warwick Farm. She’s drawn well here and should run well. 5. Impress is yet to be placed but has shown some talent and wasn’t beaten too far behind a handy one before being spelled. 2. Just Shane resumes here and wasn’t beaten far on debut. He resumes here and has had a trial to prepare.
How to play it: I Am Real WIN.
Race 4 - 3:15PM JERRABOMBERRA HOTEL CLASS 1 & MAIDEN PLATE (1600 METRES) |

1. Factoring Profit has had three runs back from a spell and should be primed to show his best now having finished fifth and fourth at his latest two starts at Canberra. The step up to the mile looks like it will suit and Billy Owen takes the ride.
Dangers: 5. Shadow Dane has only won one race from 13 starts with a further two placings to his name. he won at Wagga five starts ago and has run well since then apart from a disappointing last start effort. 9. Juliette’s Joy is a well-bred filly which comes into this on the back of a last start win at Moruya and is worth plenty of though in this. 3. Great Week ran well enough at Canberra last time out to be rated a place chance here.
How to play it: Factoring Profit EACH WAY.
Race 5 - 3:50PM CAMPBELL & GEORGE BM58 HANDICAP (1000 METRES) |
---|
11. Prophet Time has only won the one race but she is normally thereabouts and comes into this on the back of a last start second at Wagga when not beaten far as favourite. She was a winner at Wagga four starts ago and has the advantage of gate one in this.
Dangers: 7. Lady Revolution was a winner at this track on debut back in December. She resumes from a spell here on the back of a barrier trial at the Sapphire Coast where she wasn’t beaten far. A bold showing is expected here while fresh. 9. Agony Aunt ran second to Lady Revolution here in December then won at this track before a last start fifth here when not beaten far. This looks a nice race for her. 5. Kiss The Colours is a speedy customer that should give plenty of cheek in this.
How to play it: Prophet Time WIN.
Race 6 - 4:25PM DEFENCE FORCE CUP 19 MAY BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP (1460 METRES) |
---|
2. Astunner has been racing well of late having finished second in each of his latest two starts at Goulburn and then at Wagga Riverside. He’s won two of his 15 starts and has hit the line well enough in those recent efforts to suggest the step up in distance here will suit from the good alley.
Dangers: 8. Missile Maiden was a winner at the Sapphire Coast two starts ago in maiden grade before finishing midfield at the same track last time out when not beaten too far. 1. Hello Jack was safely held last time out but the winner of that race has since performed well at Hawkesbury. 7. Blood Ties is handy enough on her day and has bright place prospects here.
How to play it: Astunner WIN.
Race 7 - 5:05PM QUEANBEYAN LEAGUES CLUB BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP (1200 METRES) |
---|
9. Capicella was resuming from a spell at Wyong last time out when running well to finish fourth behind Time Bandit. She won her maiden here last campaign and this looks made to order.
Dangers: 1. Ferrari Man was a winner at Canberra last November, and his best run since then was a last start second at this track in December. He is primed to run well fresh in this line-up. 2. Kissing Supido was a last start fourth at the Sapphire Coast and bears close watching here with a repeat of that. 6. Russian Zarina has shown ability in her career and she should figure prominently in this grade if anywhere near her best.
How to play it: Capicella WIN.
Best Bets:
Race 2 (8) Impending Harmony.
Race 7 (9) Capicella.
Best Value:
