2. Written Fame has a good record with three wins and two placings to his name from 11 starts and since resuming from a spell he’s had a win, two seconds and a fourth. He ran second at Murwillumbah two weeks ago when not beaten far and he only needs to maintain his form.
Dangers: 1. Dusan strung together two straight wins at Murwillumbah before a last start second at this track when leading. He has the form on the board to give this a shake. 7. Monte Drifter has finished second at his latest two starts and a repeat of those efforts would have him in the finish of this. 4. Pixie Hallow was a Coffs Harbour winner three starts ago and comes into this on the back of a last start second at Taree.
How to play it: Written Fame WIN.
Race 2 - 1:50PM VILIFIED AT STUD CG&E BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP (1181 METRES) |

8. Saxinoue debuted with a solid fourth at Murwillumbah back in May then backed that up with a strong win at the same track when scoring by a decisive margin. He’s had two trials leading into this resuming run for a second at Deagon and then another second in a Murwillumbah trial. He looks promising and has the talent to win again.
Dangers: 5. Kevin McKeen was a winner at Taree five starts ago and since then he hasn’t been too far from the action despite being unplaced. He can bounce back to form in this line-up. 6. Chilling won a couple on end at Tamworth and this track earlier in the year and while he’s failed to fire in two runs since he can improve here without surprising. 1. Ostracised was placed at Murwillumbah at his latest start and could show up here on his best form despite the big weight.
How to play it: Saxinoue WIN.
Race 3 - 2:25PM BOOK A CHRISTMAS PARTY @ CRJC MAIDEN PLATE (1710 METRES) |

6. Special Master had two trials before debuting with a fifth at Eagle Farm when starting at big odds. He followed that up with a fourth at Lismore when not beaten too far and should appreciate the step up in distance in this event.
Dangers: 1. Bologna is yet to win from 13 starts but has been racing well of late with a second at Kempsey before a last start fourth at this track when running home reasonably well. 9. Stapleton was placed at Eagle Farm two starts ago before a last at the same track. He can improve sharply on that here. 8. Pennies Destiny was placed on the Polytrack at the Gold Coast when last produced and has place claims again.
How to play it: Special Master WIN.
Race 4 - 3:05PM GRAFTON DISTRICT SERVICES CLUB MAIDEN PLATE (1006 METRES) |

4. Siglo De Oro had shown ability early in his career before switching stables and resuming with a last start 10th of 10 when resuming at Ipswich. He has since had a trial and showed he is on target to improve when winning that in easy fashion.
Dangers: 8. Wellwithinreach is a six-year-old mare on debut and she had a trial at Tuncurry earlier in the year in which she was midfield. This looks a nice race for her to start her career in. 9. Church Rock debuted with a fourth at this track in July when racing well and he’s been fitted for this return with two solid trials. 1. Hare Street wasn’t beaten far when midfield at Murwillumbah last time out.
How to play it: Siglo De Oro WIN.
Race 5 - 3:40PM CRJC AGM 27 NOVEMBER F&M BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP (1181 METRES) |

2. Pisa Cake was a winner on debut on the Beaumont track at Newcastle then ran fifth at Tuncurry and was then spelled. She’s had two quiet trials in preparation for this return to racing and warrants plenty of thought.
Dangers: 5. Lucky Bean had been midfield in a few runs before running third at Lismore last time out when running well enough. 6. Star Expresso was debuting for a new stable when leading throughout to win at Murwillumbah. She looks to have arrived in good order and has good claims again. 7. Typhoon Neta showed improvement when scoring a last start win at Kempsey and can show up again with a repeat of that.
How to play it: Pisa Cake WIN.
Race 6 - 4:15PM CRJC CHRISTMAS RACE DAY 1 DECEMBER C1 & MAIDEN (2220 METRES) |

4. Monte Kahuna broke his maiden at Tuncurry three starts ago when starting favourite and hitting the line well. He was then just behind the placings at this track before a last start second at Lismore. He’s showing enough ability to give this a shake.
Dangers: 7. Zaynudin was having his first start since joining a new stable when finishing second at Murwillumbah and has a good record with a number of placings in his career. 5. Royal Rift is having his first start for a new stable and his form hasn’t been too bad leading into this. 3. Kairos Louie was placed at Eagle Fam two starts ago and warrants respect back to this grade.
How to play it: Monte Kahuna EACH WAY.
Race 7 - 4:50PM TEAM AIDAN MARKETS @ CRJC 24 NOVEMBER MAIDEN (1410 METRES) |
---|
13. Seki had a number of trials before debuting at Murwillumbah and running well enough when finishing sixth behind Vocals. He’s up in distance here and a drier track should suite better.
Dangers: 4. Risk For Reward was placed in his second and third starts before resuming from a spell and running well when finishing fourth at Murwillumbah. He has the talent to be hard to hold out here. 8. Golden Copper had a string of fourth placings either side of a spell before a last start ninth at Port Macquarie. She needs to improve on that but is capable of doing so. 1. Caracoron resumes from a spell for a new stable on the back of two trials and he looks set to perform well fresh.
How to play it: Seki WIN.
Race 8 - 5:30PM BEYOND THE VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL 7 DECEMBER BM66 (1410 METRES) |
---|
11. Wonderland Star was a winner at this track back in April and since has had three starts either side of a spell in city grade in Brisbane and wasn’t disgraced in any of them.
Dangers: 1. My Mum’s Toyboy won two in a row at this track in August and September then was midfield at Doomben behind a form sprinter when last produced. That form looks solid for this event 2. Frappes had been racing well at this track with a second and a win before a fifth in the Lismore Cup and a last start failure on the Polytrack at the Gold Coast. Expect a better showing here. 6. Little Prophet has been down on her best form of late but she is talented at her best and could show up without surprising.
How to play it: Wonderland Star WIN.
Best Bets:
Race 7 (13) Seki.
Race 8 (11) Wonderland Star.
