9. Livewire Lass has had two starts back from a spell and has performed well in each of them with a second at Nowra and a fifth at Wyong. She’s drawn well in gate two and is ready to peak. 5. Valiant Bomb did enough when a last start third at Canberra to be rated a chance here, while 8. Don’tcallmekathy will appreciate the step up in distance and warrants thought. 3. Son Of Rubick made his race debut at this track and ran well when finishing second. He’s drawn well in gate one and should get every chance.
How to play it: Livewire Lass WIN.
Race 2 - 1:35PM ELECTEL SERVICES SHOWCASE MAIDEN HANDICAP (1000 METRES) |

2. Zoutempus ran second on debut at the Sapphire Coast as favourite in December and was then spelled. He resumes here after a solid second in a recent trial at this track. 1. Sir Franklin has finished second in each of his two starts and is drawn to get a good run from a good gate. 5. Snuba resumes for a new stable having had two runs in city grade maidens last June. This is an easier task. 8. Written By Lucy ran well enough on debut at Canberra to be rated a chance against these.
How to play it: Zoutempus WIN.
Race 3 - 2:10PM JCF CONTRACTING SUPER MAIDEN HANDICAP (1300 METRES) |

5. Cathedral Cove hit the line well when resuming from a spell to finish second at Nowra and that was on the back of a couple of good trials. He’s drawn the inside gate here and should get every chance to break through. 4. Northern Eagle battled on well when resuming with a fourth at Wyong and is set to run well again in this company. 7. Knights Reign can improve on his resuming effort at Orange, while stablemate 8. Lonhanova was placed at Queanbeyan two starts ago and can show up if he can run up to that.
How to play it: Cathedral Cove WIN.

1. Due Calzini resumes here having tackled the Gloaming and Spring Champion Stakes last year before being spelled after a third at Canberra. He’s been fitted for this return with a trial at this track and is poised to sprint well fresh. 4. Deni Gal won well at Nowra two starts ago and then ran third at the same track last time out. 8. Prince Papa resumed with a third at Cowra and can be thereabouts again if he can run up to that. 10. Santorini Sun is talented at best and has place claims.

7. Every Heart went to the front and fought on too strongly to score a win at Nowra two starts ago as favourite. She followed that up with a close second at Hawkesbury and is racing well enough to give this a shake. 8. Ghost Walker was down the track in Highway grade before a last start second at this track as favourite. 12. Dubai Warrior is lightly raced with a good record and is set to sprint well fresh after a couple of trials. 3. Longinus was placed at Scone when resuming then wasn’t beaten far at Kembla Grange when a last start sixth.
How to play it: Every Heart WIN.
Race 6 - 4:05PM EVERGREEN TURF SOUTHERN COUNTRY CHAMPS WILD CARD (1400M) |
---|
7. Ticklebelly raced on the speed and gave a bold sight when holding on well to finish a close-up fourth in the SERA Country Championships at Nowra. Her previous form was solid, and she was a Highway winner at Randwick three runs back. She’s drawn to get the run of the race here and should take plenty of beating. 1. No Drama was also close-up when sixth in the same race Ticklebelly contested last time out and looms as the main danger. 2. Craving Magic ran eighth in that same event and was beaten less than two lengths. 3. Nomorenightshift was just behind the placings in the CDRA Country Championships at Orange and has claims here from the good draw.
How to play it: Ticklebelly EACH WAY.
Race 7 - 4:45PM SEMCO EQUIPMENT SHOWCASE FRED COOPER CUP BM74 /(1600 METRES) |
---|
8. Bravissima had been racing well with three straight wins at Nowra, Wagga and Canberra before finishing third at Canterbury when last produced. She is racing well enough to give this a shake. 5. Dunedin is resuming from a spell and is primed to run well fresh on the back of two recent trials. 4. Whisker To Whisker is second-up from a spell and should have derived benefit from the resuming effort at Warwick Farm. 9. Cape Byron has had two runs since joining a new stable and ran well enough at Canterbury last time out to suggest he can make an impact here.
How to play it: Bravissima WIN.
Race 8 - 5:25PM CHAMPION THOROUGHBREDS BM58 HANDICAP (1000 METRES) |
---|
10. Pleasurize debuted with a strong victory at Moruya as favourite after racing on the speed and never being threatened. She can go on with the job here if she can overcome the wide draw. 1. Ronny Rock Art is a prolific placegetter that has drawn ideally here to figure in the money again. 5. Teylu resumed with a solid victory at Canberra and shouldn’t be underestimated. 3. Boom In The Dark is on debut for the new stable and comes into this after a last start third at Ipswich in January.
How to play it: Pleasurize WIN.
