Selections based on a soft track

Race 1 - 12:45PM WOODHAMS PETROLEUM & PARAGON PASTORAL MAIDEN (1100M)

2. Felis has been placed in three of his nine starts and two of those placings have been in his latest two assignments at Gunnedah and Wellington. Both of those have been on rain affected tracks.

Dangers: 4. Wilbury has been racing well and warrants respect against these while 6. Meet Me In Brazil has been racing well and has place claims in this. 3. King Rupert has shown improvement when midfield in both runs back from a spell and another bold showing here would not surprise.

How to play it: Felis WIN.

Race 2 - 1:20PM SHOWCASE PICNIC CHAMPIONSHIP (1400 METRES)

2. Individualist ran an improved race when finishing fourth at Dubbo last time out. His form had been patchy in three starts before that since scoring at Wean four runs ago. Wayne Wheatley takes the ride here in what is a race for amateur riders.

Dangers: 3. Madison Point has drawn well and in a wide open race has the talent to give plenty of cheek here. 9. Inzaghi has the leading jockey on board and warrants respect while 8. Gossip has been racing on good form and has claims.

How to play it: Individualist EACH WAY.

Race 3 - 1:55PM SWANNY'S FOOD & XXXX BM66 SHOWCASE HANDICAP (1400 METRES)

7. Simply Xtravagant has had three runs since joining the Brett Robb stable and looked good winning the latest two, both at Dubbo. She needs to overcome a wide alley to claim the hat-trick.

Dangers: 2. What A Peach has drawn well and has performed well of late. She can be thereabouts if she runs up to her best form. 3. Dyerville is having his first start for a new stable and warrants respect, while 5. Miss Jennifer is on the way up and has place claims.

How to play it: Simply Xtravagant EACH WAY.

Race 4 - 2:30PM NALDER FAMILY COUNTRY BOOSTED C3 HANDICAP (1600 METRES)

1. Titled Tycoon was midfield in TAB Highway company at Rosehill four starts ago, but since returning to country grade he has improved with placings in each of his latest three outings. He wasn’t beaten far when third at Scone at his latest start.

Dangers: 8. Talkachino has looked good winning his last two starts at Bathurst and Dubbo. He is still on the way up and has the talent to be in the finish again in this. 2. Belleistic Kids fought on well to win last time out and a repeat of that would have him hard to beat here. 3. Syyforger is a consistent performer and warrants respect here.

How to play it: Titled Tycoon WIN.

Race 5 - 3:05PM QUBE AGRI SUPER MAIDEN SHOWCASE HANDICAP (1300 METRES)

2. Infinite Prince has finished second in his latest two starts at Dubbo when beaten less than a length each time. He is ready to break through and from gate 1 here he gets his chance.

How to play it: Infinite Prince WIN.

Race 6 - 3:45PM DUBBO CITY TOYOTA & GILGANDRA TOYOTA C1 (1400 METRES)

4. All Too Sneaky was a winner at Dubbo three starts back and since then she’s finished third at Kempsey and then again at Dubbo. She’s drawn well here and was scratched at Taree on Friday to be saved for this.

Dangers: 1. Ammahell has performed well since joining for a new stable and has the talent to be in the thick of things in this. He wasn’t beaten far last time out at Canberra. 6. Chookster has been consistent of late and could figure again without surprising. 7. Cranky Creed has also been racing well and has claims against these.

How to play it: All Too Sneaky WIN.

Race 7 - 4:20PM KEADY FAMILY COONAMBLE SHOWCASE CRYSTAL SPRINT (1200 METRES)

2. Very Sharp scored two impressive wins at Scone with side of a couple of unplaced city runs when she was far from disgraced. She’s drawn wide but there should be a solid speed.

Dangers: 1. Rylan’s Pick is racing in great form with wins at his latest two starts. If he runs up to that he will be hard to hold out again. 3. Rajnish has drawn wide but his form is solid and he can figure in the thick of things with any luck. 7. Impact Star will find this easier than recent assignments and can be placed without surprising.

How to play it: Very Sharp WIN.

Race 8 - 4:55PM GERONIMO FARM EQUIPMENT/NEW HOLLAND COONAMBLE CUP (1600M)

***BIG DANCE ELIGIBILITY***
