Jockey Daniel Northey Prepares To Return To Race Riding
Jockey Daniel Northey has been given his full clearance to return to race riding, having been riding trackwork for the past six weeks.
Daniel is hopeful of race riding again on Melbourne Cup Day at Muswellbrook following several operations.
The rider was seriously injured in December 2017 when jumping a horse out of the barriers at Scone, before his mount became fractious and ended up rearing over on top of him.
