Injured Stablehand - Jennifer Flood (Queanbeyan, Mon)

Licensed stablehand Jennifer Flood was kicked by a horse that she was strapping for her father/trainer, Peter Flood, at Queanbeyan on Monday (24th February). Jennifer has suffered a deep laceration to her right thigh and was transported to hospital for further treatment.

[Update at 10:45am on Tuesday 25th February]: Jennifer has reported she received three stitches to her right thigh and is suffering from general soreness. She was discharged from hospital last night and is expected to be stood down from duties for the rest of the week.
