Injured Rider Update - Reece Jones (Scone, Saturday 11th May)
Apprentice jockey Reece Jones was dislodged during trackwork at Scone on Saturday morning (11th May) after his saddle slipped.
Reece was treated at Scone Hospital on Saturday with scans revealing no breaks.
Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reported that Reece had an MRI at John Hunter Hospital on Monday (13th May) which shows a possible ACL rupture in his right leg. Dr Duckworth will try to get him to see a surgeon in Sydney.
