Jockey Michael Travers was dislodged shortly after the start of race 6 at Albury when his mount (Audrey's Destiny) commenced to buck on Tuesday (4th February).
Michael was assessed by ambulance officers after experiencing pain to his neck and was transported to Albury Hospital for further observation.
[Update at 10:30am on Friday]: Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reports further scans revealed Michael's ankle is fractured. Michael is going back to Wagga Base Hospital tonight and will either have to go into a plaster or a boot.
