Injured Rider Update - Matthew Bennett (Coffs Harbour, Mon)
Jockey Matthew Bennett was dislodged from his mount, Moana Marie, following the running of race 4 at Coffs Harbour on Monday (30th December).
Matthew is being transported to Coffs Harbour Hospital to have his right wrist and right ankle assessed.
[Update on Tuesday 31st December]: Matthew was discharged from Coffs Harbour Hospital last night and reported that he has torn a tendon in his ankle which has been fitted with a boot. He may also have sustained a fractured wrist.
