Injured Rider Update - Craig Franklin (Ballina, Monday)

Jockey Craig Franklin was dislodged from his mount (Moringa's Stormy) approximately 800 metres after the start of race 1 at Ballina on Monday (8th April).

Craig is conscious and was fitted with a neck brace as a precaution. He was transported to Ballina Hospital for further assessment and observation.

[Update at 8:50am on Tuesday 9th April]: Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth has reported Craig is fine and all his scans and X-rays are clear.

Craig was discharged from hospital yesterday and has soft tissue injuries to his neck and shoulder.
