Apprentice jockey Clayton Gallagher was dislodged from his mount (Summer Orchard) prior to race 2 at Orange on Friday (17th April).
Clayton has pain to his left elbow and is currently being attended to by ambulance officers. He has been stood down from his remaining rides today and will be taken to Orange Hospital for precautionary scans.
[Update Saturday 8:30am] Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reports that Clayton has been discharged from hospital and has a soft tissue injury to his elbow. No fractures were found.
