Apprentice jockey Anna Roper was dislodged from her mount (Stable Talk) following the running of Race 2 at Muswellbrook on Friday.
Anna landed on her right knee, was conscious and is experiencing pain to her knee, hip and back. She has been taken to John Hunter Hospital for precautionary scans of her back.
[Update Saturday]: Anna was discharged from hospital today and she will undergo further scans of her knee and back next week under the care of Dr. Duckworth.
[Update Friday night]: Anna's x-rays were clear of her knee and back but she stayed overnight for further scans.
