Jockeys Martin Haley and Daniel Pitomac were dislodged from their mounts during Race 4 at Parkes on Saturday (25th August).
Update at 9pm on Saturday 25th August: Racing NSW's Dr David Duckworth reported that Martin Haley's x-rays were clear for his shoulder. More than likely he has injured his shoulder's AC joint which should settle over the next month. Daniel Pitomac's scans of his back were also clear and he is waiting for specialist clearance for discharge home tonight.
Update at 5pm on Saturday 25th August: Martin has a suspected fractured shoulder and possibly other injuries, while Daniel is suffering from pain in his legs and lower back, and pain to his kidney region. Both riders were taken to Parkes Airport to be re-assessed by another Doctor to determine if they will be flown to Orange Hospital or a Sydney hospital for further treatment.
