Injured Jockey Update - Rebeka Prest (Wagga, Sat)

Apprentice jockey Rebeka Prest was dislodged at around the 800 metres when riding White Emperor in race 3 at Wagga on Saturday (30th November).

Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reported that Rebeka has a fracture of her T 12 vertebra, however, the fracture is stable and will be treated by wearing a brace.

Rebeka does not require surgery and will be seeing a specialist in Sydney. She will probably be in Wagga Wagga Base Hospital for a few days.
