Injured Jockey Update - Jon Grisedale (Lismore, Monday)

Jockey Jon Grisedale fell from his mount [Coloane] around the 750m in Race 6 at Lismore on Monday 12th August. Jon was momentarily unconscious and has since regained consciousness. He has been taken to Lismore Base Hospital for further assessment.

[Update at 4pm, Friday 16th August]:  Dr Duckworth reports that Jon's surgery went well and his clavicle was fixed in Lismore Hospital. All his other injuries are being treated conservatively. Dr Duckworth will be seeing Jon in two weeks for a follow-up.

[Update at 8pm, Monday 12th August]: Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reports Jon has a concussion and needs observation overnight. He also has a fractured foot, ankle and clavicle. Jon may also need surgery to these areas and Dr Duckworth will find out more information tonight.
