Jockey Jeff Kehoe was dislodged from his mount in the barrier trial held at Taree today (Friday 27 August).
He is complaining of neck and back pain and will require scans on his ankle.
He will be transported to Manning Valley Hospital.
Update (9am Saturday): Jeff was discharged from Taree hospital last night.
He has a fractured left ankle being treated in a boot. He has lost his 2 front teeth and will need to see a dentist during the week. He possibly also has some fractured ribs.
