Off the back of its strong Goulburn Cup program the tablelands race club sign posts an exciting spring racing schedule with a competitive eight-race card today.
Goulburn will host five race meetings over the next 10 weeks making it a spring season offering plenty of growth opportunities for trainers, their horses and connections.
Goulburn Race Club's CEO, Robyn Fife said the club is looking forward to the months ahead.
“Our spring racing schedule is a strong one this year and one we are keen to make the most of after tackling cold and wet conditions in the early part of winter,” Ms. Fife offered.
“With such a buzz around racing right across regional and rural NSW at this time of year its great to have our brand out there regularly as part of that.
“And with Goulburn-trained horses both confirmed and under consideration for races like The Kosciuszko as we speak, spring remains a prime opportunity for the club and our trainers to showcase the quality of our racing product.”
Ms. Fife also believes the club’s spring racing schedule is an opportunity to build impetus towards the end of the calendar year.
“Our spring racing also translates into time tested events like Girls Day Out race day and also sets us up with good momentum for early summer with our Christmas Cup race day a popular trackside booking option for local commerce and trainers.”
Goulburn’s track is currently rated a Soft 5 for today’s program, the rail is in the true position and the opening race is timed to go at 1pm.
