ROSEHILL GARDENS – BEST BET: Race 10 # 11 – PHARARI

Keen on her, she brings a dominant ratings/sectional profile relative to her rivals. The mare was impressive first-up at Sandown after always facing the breeze, accelerating and pulling away from her rivals with style. All her peak figures have come on wet ground; she fits the Rosehill 1100m profile, and with even luck, expect her to be hard to hold out.

ROSEHILL GARDENS – VALUE BET: Race 9 # 7 – NEW ENERGY

His first-up run in the Group 2 Theo Marks Stakes (1300m) had hidden merit after having the race shape against and being checked/blocked for most of the straight. Even with that interference, he still clocked some of the meeting's fastest closing splits and second-up last prep; his effort was much better than what the form guide reads. The genuine anticipated tempo will suit; he maps to get to the predicted superior part of the track and has the closing speed to run over the top of his rivals. He can rate to win and represents value.

ROSEHILL GARDENS – SECTIONAL STAR: Race 8 # 4 – LINEBACKER

His return in the Run To The Rose (1200m) was full of merit after being restrained from a wide draw and getting too far back in transit. The colt had to make his run through the inferior ground but still clocked the meeting's fastest final 200m split in 10.91 and went through the line full of energy. Expect him to settle closer; the rain-affected ground gives him an advantage, and 1400m is ideal.

DUBBO SUNDAY – COUNTRY PICK: Race 7 # 7 – VIVY AIR

She's been racing well all preparation and is ready to win fourth-up. The mare is coming through a high-rating race where her run was solid, and she hit the line hard to run fourth. She can sprint off slow/fast tempos, handles all conditions and runs to a consistent figure that'll put her in the finish. The 1600m will pose no issue; expect her to savage the line.
