Albury Racing Club is currently seeking applications for an EVENTS MANAGER.
The Events Manager is responsible for developing and implementing:
- Raceday events, hospitality experiences and non-raceday functions and events
- Developing and implementing initiatives to drive sales growth across hospitality packages, membership and sponsorship
- Coordinating and motivating casual function and event staff
- Effectively communicating with ARC partners to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
- Assist the CEO in contributing to the Club’s short and long-term strategic plans
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a similar position and or be able to demonstrate success across the key responsibilities
- Excellent knowledge of bar and hospitality systems and procedures
- A current NSW RSA, excellent computer skills and knowledge of till systems and reporting methods
- Sales experience and excellent customers service skills
Remuneration packages will be negotiable dependent on qualifications and experience.
