Employment Opportunity: Finance & Administration Officer (Racing NSW Country)

Racing NSW Country is dedicated to providing regulatory and administrative support to country race clubs engaged in Thoroughbred horse racing across New South Wales.

Situated in Sydney's CBD, we offer an exciting opportunity to become part of our team, assisting country race clubs and collaborating with Racing NSW to regulate Thoroughbred racing in New South Wales.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to country race clubs and Racing NSW
• Engage in various aspects of racing administration
• Utilise IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
• Apply accounting concepts and applications effectively

Requirements:

• Strong work ethic and the ability to multitask in administration
• Understanding of thoroughbred racing concepts and terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Desire to work collaboratively in a small team environment
