The crystal ball never lies - be told, there'll be a new course record set at Narromine this Sunday (4th February)!
Narromine Turf Club will stage the first running of a 2400-metre event - the Patrick Donoghue Handicap - with the race attracting eight starters.
"We're excited about our first ever 2400-metre race," said NTC's secretary-manager, Libby Dennis. "Naturally they will run a course and race record!
"The day will raise funds for the 'R U OK?', a suicide prevention initiative.
"It should be an excellent day with a waterslide and jumping castle for kids.
"And for the adults we have live entertainment from Isaac Compton who will play at the bar playing all afternoon.
"We will also offer a full bar, and great food & coffee."
The seven-race card carries $140,000 in prizemoney with the first kicking off at 2:10pm and the final event due to jump at 5:45pm.
