Updated NSW Country Race Meetings Status (Friday 6 Dec & Saturday 7 Dec)

Below is a further update is provided for country race meetings on Friday and Saturday the 6th or 7th of December 2024.

MUDGEE (Friday 6 December)
Racing on a Soft 5 rated track.

ALBURY (Saturday 7 December)
The track is presently rated as a Soft 6. Friday is expected to be a hot (low-mid 30s Celsius), drying day with the prospect of being followed by some overnight rainfall. Saturday is also forecast to be hot (low 30s Celsius). A contingency has been in place with Corowa racecourse, however the meeting is expected to proceed at Albury as scheduled.

GUNNEDAH (Saturday 7 December)
The track is presently rated as a Soft 5 and with no significant rainfall forecast, the race meeting is expected to proceed as scheduled.

COOMA (Saturday 7 December - non-TAB)
The racecourse has benefited from rainfall in recent weeks and is presently a Good 3. There is the chance of a late storm and some overnight rain, however the race meeting is expected to proceed as scheduled.

COWRA (Saturday 7 December - non-TAB)
The track is presently rated as a Soft 5. Friday is expected to be a hot (low 30s Celsius), drying day with improvement to Good 4 expected. The weather forecast is for overnight and morning rain, however at this stage the meeting is proceeding as scheduled.
