Awesome Pluck Ineligible For Country Championships

Racing NSW Stewards have today declared Awesome Pluck ineligible for the Country Championships after it was discovered that the gelding was stabled at the premises of Barry Lockwood at Eagle Farm in Queensland for a period leading up to the Mid North Coast Country Championships event at Taree on Sunday, 23 February 2020.

Stewards determined this to be a contravention of the 2020 Country Championships Race Conditions, and accordingly, have declared Awesome Pluck ineligible.

Trainer Jenny Graham has been advised that an inquiry will be commenced regarding her apparent failure to advise Stewards of a change of stabling address for Awesome Pluck.

Wagering Operators are advised to remove Awesome Pluck from the Country Championships future betting markets.
