2023 NSW Country Racing Awards

Racing NSW Country held the annual Racing Conference Friday 29 September 2023, coinciding with the presentation of the 2023 NSW Country Racing Awards.

The Award recipients of the various categories were announced and acknowledged for their significant contribution to country racing.

The Country recipients of the Awards for 2023 are as follows:

• Simon Nivison Special Achievement Award: Merv Mercer
• Country TAB Race Club of the Year: Murrumbidgee Turf Club
• Country TAB Race Club of the Year: Tuncurry-Forster Jockey Club
• Outstanding Achievement Award: Cooma-Monaro Race Club
• Special Recognition Award: Narrandera Race Club
• Country Trainer of the Year: Clint Lundholm
• Country Jockey of the Year: Aaron Bullock
• Country Apprentice Jockey of the Year: Molly Bourke
• Country Approved Rider of the Year: Leandro Ribeiro

All finalists and nominees should be very proud of their efforts during the 2022/23 season which deserves this level of recognition.
