Regional training great and 2019 The Kosciuszko winner Keith Dryden has a compelling mix of unbeaten newcomers and consistent restricted gallopers to be the trainer to follow at value into the Sapphire Coast's TAB meeting on Friday.

Dryden invariably is a force to be reckoned with targeting from the ACT to Sapphire Coast and Moruya and he has four contenders with ideal credentials into the eight-race program.

Impressive debut winners Vinolass ($1.55 favourite on TAB) and Sister Moon ($2.40 fav) have inside draws, vital at the tight and turning Sapphire Coast as have stablemates Breakaway Week ($2 fav) and Burgundy Girl ($10) with multiple placings in later races.

“Yes, we’re coming down with four nice chances, the right form and inside barriers always in your favour at Sapphire [Coast],” Dryden offered.

“Vinolass is a lovely progressive filly, coming off impressive wins, we’ve claimed and she can certainly go through the grades.”

Vinolass has 60kg less the 2kg claim for Olivia Chambers in the Robert Smith BM 58, (1008m). Sister Moon a four-year-old late starting mare, won a Moruya maiden in July on heavy and is resuming in a Core Infrastructure Class 1 (1008m).

“This mare has had ongoing issues hence the time off - this prep is the best we’ve had her; she’ll improve on whatever she does but I’m happy with her.”

Breakaway Week and Burgundy Girl contest the final two races.

“Breakaway Week needs the pace on, if they walk we’re in trouble but at Sapphire [Coast] in big fields, there’s usually tempo.

“Burgundy Girl is due; been around the mark and drawn in a suitable race.”

Also the combination of Quayde Krogh, rapidly becoming a southern track Cup’s specialist, and the Joseph & Jones stable are invariably hard to beat at home.

Krogh who has won successive Bega Cups, a Nowra and Snake Gully Cup also rides contenders for Nick Olive, Wagunda ($9.50) in the final race and Hell Right ($14) for Gratz Vella in the second event.

“Wagunda won a maiden well enough, drawn to be on pace but Nick’s other runner (Snappy Jim-$5 fav) is a chance even thought it’s drawn out.

“Hell Right is really consistent, in the right race and should roll forward.”

At present Sapphire is a Soft 6 in fine weather with the rail out 5m from the 800m to the 370m and the cutaway applies.
